long_description        Apertium is a free and open source machine \
                        translation platform, initially aimed at related \
                        language pairs but recently expanded to deal with \
                        more divergent language pairs (such as \
                        English-Catalan). This package provides the \
                        language-independent machine translation engine \
                        (language pairs are in separate packages), which \
                        includes both translation tools (deformatters for \
                        ODT, DOCX, HTML, etc., TMX handling, the actual \
                        translation pipeline) and the tools used to create \
                        new language pairs.
